Join us as we embark on our third Umrah Retreat! We invite you on this journey where we'll learn about the inner and outer dimensions of Umrah with Mustafa Briggs. We'll perform our Umrah together and apart. It will be an opportunity to connect to Allah, ourselves and fellow believers. We've curated an experience that combines a spiritual and adventurous journey and we hope that you benefit from it.

Most people visit Saudi Arabia to perform their Hajj and Umrah, not realizing the land is diverse, beautiful and full of surprises.  We invite you to explore parts unknown. We'll begin in Medina (4 nights) , make our way to Mecca (3 nights)  and finish off in Jeddah (3 nights)

We'll pray, explore historical Jeddah, Mecca and Madinah, shop and enjoy traditional Saudi food, art and music. You'll meet various locals and entrepreneurs who are doing wonderful things for the advancement of their communities. We've planned a few surprises that we won't share with you just yet.... Bismillah!

Burgundy Roots prides itself in unique and curated travel experiences. In order for us to fulfill our promise, we must pay our suppliers ahead of time. Please note that once your deposit is processed, it cannot be recuperated as our suppliers are paid upfront months ahead of time. Thank you for your understanding. Deposit/payment terms:  Please note that your first two payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits must be  received within the time specified at the time of booking in order to confirm your booking and avoid automatic cancellation. If you are unable to attend for whatever reason, you may transfer the trip to a family member or friend. 

Cancellation charges: 

Please note that  deposits and payments are non-refundable.  In the event of a travel ban due to COVID-19 or any other unforeseen circumstances, retreat dates will be altered to a later date. No refunds will be granted. Discomfort/unease with regards to travel or quarantine upon return will not be considered. All payments are final and non-refundable.

Final payment: 

Final payments are due 80 days prior to the trip. Any cancellation made 80 days or more prior to the trip is subject to a 50% penalty (your card will be charged another 25% of the retreat fee). Any cancellation made 79 days or less prior to the trip is subject to full payment of the retreat fee.  

Vaccination: 

It is incumbent upon each traveler to check the rules and regulations in regards to vaccination demands in each country. Each traveler must ensure that they meet the criteria upon entry, as no refund will be granted if one does not meet the criteria. You may sell your slot or send someone else on your behalf instead, however no refund nor credit will be granted. 

Please note that airport pick up is not included, kindly take a taxi from the Medina airport to the Hilton Madina Hotel. The team will be at the hotel to ensure your check in is smooth.

We will meet in the evening for a welcome and orientation session.

After breakfast we'll visit the Holy sites around the city of Medina. Our tours are from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM. We'll head back to the hotel for lunch. Please note that only breakfast is included and that lunch/dinner will be at an additional cost. The rest of the evening will be devoted to free time for worship and exploration as well as class with Sidi Mustafa.

After breakfast we'll visit the Holy sites around the city of Medina. Our tours are from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We'll head back to the hotel for lunch. Please note that only breakfast is included and that lunch/dinner will be at an additional cost. The rest of the evening will be devoted to free time for worship and exploration as well as class with Sidi Mustafa.

After breakfast we'll visit the Holy sites around the city of Medina. Our tours are from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We'll head back to the hotel for lunch. Today we make our way to Mecca to complete our first Umrah with Sidi Mustafa Briggs, he will explain the ritual details prior to arrival insh'Allah. After checking into our hotel, we'll give everyone time off to worship and unwind and complete our group Umrah together insh'Allah.

Today we'll enjoy a tour of the spiritual sites of Mecca insh'Allah. We'll return on time for anyone who would like to complete a second Umrah.

Today we head to the beautiful city of Jeddah! We leave early morning at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival and checking into our hotel, we'll enjoy a short break and make our way to the Old Town for an unforgettable visit!
